Our client, a leading company in the human resources services industry, is seeking a remote, fractional Sales Development Representative (SDR). This company, headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, has been providing comprehensive human capital management solutions since 2011. Their innovative approach combines cutting-edge HCM technology, strategic and tactical human resources, benefits administration, and payroll services to maximize the return on human capital.
They are looking to generate more top-of-funnel leads to support their growing sales team. As an SDR, you will play a critical role in driving deeper penetration into their market. The company serves a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, nonprofits, and retail, making the opportunity vast and diverse.
This is a fractional SDR role, which pays commissions of $350 per qualified meeting.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- 5+ years of experience in sales development, cold calling, and prospecting
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS and technology sales
- Prior experience selling into HR personas (CHRO, VP of HR, HR Director, HR Manager)
- Passion for sales as a craft, with a desire to always be learning and improving your craft
- Bonus – if you have experience in human resources or related fields
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify new leads through outbound calling and email campaigns
- Understand the company's product offerings and effectively communicate their value to potential clients
- Schedule qualified meetings for the sales team
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies

What you’ll do:
- Grow top of sales funnel through cold outbound campaigns
- Call into mobile-enriched leads who fit the target persona
- Pitch and qualify those leads
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives using qualification criteria
- Utilize your active listening skills to understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how the Client can solve them
- Develop strong sales and product knowledge
